louis Posted April 20, 2006 at 11:46 AM Report Share Posted April 20, 2006 at 11:46 AM Hi, this is my first post, I have realized that there are many different word to address people in mandarin: some indicate job titles like 老板、老师 for example, some indicate family relationships, but also extend to friends sometimes as 叔叔、姐姐 etc.. some indicate only age, as 小姐 and there are many more out there! Does anyone know where I could find a list of them, explaining their proper use? Do you know which ones are appropriate to use at work?
