One fairly random photo of Chinese characters in action, per week, until sometime in 2018. And perhaps longer if I'm encouraged. I wonder what a non-民用 key is.

Jail keys. Office keys. Safe keys. Keys to Zhongnanhai. Etc.

 

I'd probably translate 民用钥匙 here as "household keys," that is keys used in daily life around the house: door keys, cabinet keys, bike keys, luggage keys, etc.
