Non-Chinese Chinese languages

Recommended Posts

Lived iin Korea for a year back in my Army days. Not too hard to pick up, there were several other soldiers that did quite well with it becoming near fluent in a year. Of course they had Korean girlfriends or hung out with the "drinky" girls a lot.

I've forgotten almost all of the minimum that I knew. Korean doen't have the homonym problem that makes immersion so hard in Chinese at the begginning levells.
