When I travel, I always carry around Microfiber towels particularly in hostels for they don't always necessarily carry them and microfiber is great for it dries very fast and no drip. Decathelon sells them varying in all kinds of sizes. I bet there's one in Guangzhou you can grab. Or try MUJI.
