I've found a workaround. You can create an account at http://weibo.com/login.php and use that account to log into Baidu, bypassing the need for any CAPTCHA interpretation by 889 (we all appreciate your efforts) and avoiding your issues around the phone number verification (U.S.-based SMS verification is allowed by Weibo).

 

In case anyone was wondering, I was able to use this to get free access to the 2055 GB of cloud storage, after downloading and logging into their mobile app.

Sorry, whiteedge, but it won't allow me to sign up without a phone number, and I cannot link a single number to more than one account. It doesn't appear to deliver the verification message to other popular virtual SMS services, either. This leaves me with no way to create an account for you.

Have you downloaded the Weibo app and tried it? Perhaps phone registration on the app isn't limited to the dozen or so countries available on the desktop site. I don't know -- it's just a thought. In China, apps and desktop sites sometimes have different functionalities.

well i think we're stuck now as everytime i tried to make an account on either baidu/weibo/imqq it will ask you to provide a phone number from only a dozen countries. actually on imqq you can use phone numbers from almost all countries but for some reason when i put my phone number it always said "This number has reached the daily limit of verification code received. Please try a different number" ,i tried to put 3 different numbers but it always said the same thing. 

 

 

@MegaManMadelt okay no worries bro i appreciate it. but may i ask another help from you? can you please try to make me an account from http://reg.imqq.com/ ? i tried using my number but it gave me a message from above

However. I like this forum and I would like learn and  helping other people. Could you 889  explain me  what kind of CAPTCHA is this and why my eleccion was wronG?. For  whiteedege. y Recett. It's notm necesary yo enter  nnumber china moblile. Only enter through qqmail alternative. Not, the qqmail, but the email wich you use to register qqmail.com 

 

However, without  SOLVE CAPTHA to activate count, It doesn't work
