I know few people from Ukraine who got the scholarship though. @ml14229 If I remember correctly, it was between 3rd and 5th of September. It might vary a bit so better check it out, but should be in the beginning of September. As for the offices, well with most Chinese universities you require a lot of patience to deal with them & their paperwork. Now we have a bit more than one month to get everything prepared. Will anyone else be attending Soochow University for a language program? Yesterday I got my admission to Dongbei University for my bachelor degree in Tourism Management as a CSC student but as my chinese language is very poor, they have decided to send me for one year first in Beijing Language Culture University to learn Chinese (that is from Sep 2016 to Jul 2017). My course in Tourism in Dongbei will start as from Sep 2017 till Jul 2021. The problem I am having with my admission notice is that I did apply for the Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management (ENGLISH Program) but upon receiving the admission notice from Dongbei yesterday, they did write Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management (CHINESE Program). That situation is stressing me so much before I can come to China as I don't know if in one year i will be able to assimilate the Chinese Language and after that start my Major Course (Tourism Management) at Dongbei in Chinese. Can you please help me to know if it's possible to change the Major course from Chinese Program to English Program ? It's the same email the rest of the US people received except there was just 3 of us sent this email this time. I'm not sure how the US embassy will handle it this year, but I know last year they asked for the address but never said exactly when they received the materials or when they will be sending them out to recipients. I sent my address and got a email back confirming they got it. Now I'm kind of concerned that they will either a) just send on the papers without telling me so I won't know where I'm going until I actually get the papers or b) if I didn't get the scholarship they won't say anything then I'm left in the dark for awhile as well... Every time I've called and someone answered they were helpful with all my questions.
