So I'll just apply again next year as I'll most likely get it this time. Still difficult to believe I could have been part of the candidates but I figured it wasn't that bad. We already finished admission notice and other documents." I wouldn't say this is the rule for announcing the result though, so it is definitely worth asking the uni (mine is University of Science and Technology Beijing). If you have applied for a place at the same uni and didn't get an answer, write again.
